Bell Handengine^®, Inc., founded in 2000, was formerly known as Bell International, Inc., of Burlingame, California. It was founded by Mr. Dewey Bell, an electrical engineer and Colonel in the army, who was responsible for introducing electric hand pieces into the dental field.

Now in its 37th year, Bell Handengine^®, Inc. is owned and operated by Jim & Cindee Dias.
